Got a call from a Jack Williams (most likely wasn't his real name). Had a middle eastern accent. Told me a was approved for a $3500 loan. I wanted to opt for a $1500 loan. This guy knew my basic information including my limited credit history so that's where a Green dot money pak came into the conversation. It was going to be used as a trust thing.I brought three of these and out of 300. I should've been smarter and knew that a real company would never ask for money up front but scammer know how to prey on those in need.
