I was approached at my house my a young man who was trying to win a trip to Italy. He convinced me to buy a magazine and I did for my mother, the Readers Digest Large Print. Today I got a notice that they would not fulfill my order with the magazine I ordered (for some unforeseen issues)and offered me 3 magazines from a list of magazines I would never choose. They did not offer to refund my money.
Certainly, once scammed, it spoils it for other worthy door to door solicitations. So, NO more donations!
