THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY...IT IS AN ONLINE SCAM!! Do not order flowers from Ava's Flowers. I searched for a florist nearby a hospital in Denver and they came up as "local". The day the flowers were supposed to be delivered, I received a call mid-afternoon from a completely incompetent customer service rep who advised "We couldn't deliver the flowers because she's not in that hospital." After 10 minutes of the rep talking over me, cutting me off and generally being completely rude and inappropriate, I ended the call and went online to research what happened. THEY SPELLED MY FRIEND'S NAME WRONG!! I called them back immediately the same day and informed them of the error and requested they re-attempt to deliver the flowers the next day. I also sent an email detailing my concerns and complaints. Next day, no delivery. Called in the afternoon to check the status...was told they would research it and call me back. No call back. Third day...two calls to find out where the flowers are/were and why they hadn't been delivered. No-one able to tell us the status...no calls back. 4th day...called twice and asked to speak with a manager/supervisor, was told we would receive a call back. No call ever came. (Meanwhile, my friend was recovering well from surgery and was released from the hospital) Called today and asked for a full refund. After 15 torturous, agonizing, mind-numbing minutes of back-and-forth and being offered $10 store credit, being assured the flowers would be delivered (this time) and then being told I could only be refunded 50% because of a "re-stocking fee" I informed the CSR that the only acceptable resolution to my complaint was a full refund. She danced around the issue for a few more minutes and I advised if I was not provided a full refund I would simply contact my bank to dispute the charges. She then became very rude and advised a full refund would be issued. Moral of the story...if, like me, you make the mistake of doing business with Ava's Flowers and have a similarly abysmal experience...don't settle for anything less than a full refund with this business!
