I had 30 hours of lessons booked in with Surepass Driving School and the Instructor cut short my lessons by some hours.

He did this by leaving early, taking food breaks in my lesson time which I paid for and made stops as and when he felt like it. Very upsetting indeed. I paid £638 for the lessons including my test. I lost my other fees as well. Surepass are a very unreliable company.

Also, the instructor kept on changing the schedule at very short notice which was very inconvenient to me, but Surepass didnt care. Customer Service Manager Michelle Partington said "Your disappointment with the customer service appears to stem from the fact we will not agree to refund the amount of money you are asking for, which after my investigation, it appears we are not liable for"

What I say to that is, how very convenient for you Michelle! Of course you will love to protect your own work colleagues and company.

Also, the instructor,named Sukh Dass from Belvedere, London, suggested I commit a crime by falsely reporting my license lost to the DVLA and DSA to get the money out of them instead. I reported this to the police, ref no: CHS8679 who also advised me to report Surepass to trading standards as well.

The company does not care about existing customers. It only cares about getting new ones. I do not recommend this company at all. Take my advice and pay the extra to go with BSM, AA etc. They have high standards, not like Surepass who are the gun-slinging cowboys of driving schools.

Surepass claim "pass your test in a week" but 4 months later, Im now looking for another driving school to train with as surepass are a rubbish driving school with cowboys for instructors. They just love to take your money and rip you off. Thats their only concern... ripping you off. Just google the BBC report on them as well.

Update: 07/05/2014

The court claim A8QZ4771 against Surepass Ltd has now been closed as Surepass have paid the outstanding debt of £186 including court costs.

I am now satisfied this matter has been resolved.
