Got a text from this person eager to purchase an executive desk I listed on Craigslist for $300. He said his name is Fierro Rich and that he would make the payment immediately to my paypal account and let me know when he was finished. Within 5 min he text again saying he's sent payment, another 5 min he text again asking if I've seen the confirmation from paypal. I check my paypal account and nothing is there, I check my email and there are 3 separate emails, 1 Notification of New Fund from Fierro Rich= $300 for goods, $250 Transport Agent Fee (in Lafayette, Indiana named Tina Daujotas), and $50 Western Union Charges. Note says to send $250 to agent via Western Union to transport agent today so they can pick up the desk tomorrow. A second email is asking that I send the Western Union MTCN # to [email protected] before my funds could be released to me. A third email from a supposed Richard Wilson, identified as a paypal representative in charge of my transaction with Fierro Rich again noting that they will not credit my paypal account until I send proof of $250 payment to shippers via Western Union. I believe this is phishing for paypal email addresses and sending emails that look like it is coming from paypal. Told the fool thanks for the interest but no thanks immediately and I haven't heard anything else. I will be reporting the emails to paypal.
