Smilefinance.co.uk took money from my account without authorisation from me. I have never been in touch with them for their services and believe they have fraudulently gained my personal details.
On the 1st May, I managed to find there customer service phone number, funnily enough was recorded on the bank transaction! I phoned them explaining that I was not happy at all about this, and that I wanted my money back!
I was given a special code number and told to email this to refund@smilefinance.
This I did, they contacted me the same day, telling me to fill out a refund form,they would cancel my so called membership and I would be refunded within 14 days of receiving my refund form!
I filled the form, emailed it back! I thought it was a quick response and would honor the refund! I waited a couple of days, did not hear anything, so on the 4th May,I emailed and asked them if they could let me know when the matter would be dealt with! Still no contact or refund from them! On the 14th May I emailed them again saying I would take further action! They soon piped up & on the 15th May, they said my refund was processed on the 6th May & it states you will receive your refund in 14 working days! A estimate date will be 28/05/14
Well, it is now 02/07/2014, I have not received my refund, have tried to make further contact, but nothing!
