I got a call from a guy at this company stating I was approved for a Government grant for a business that I did not need to pay back but he could not give me a figure. He said I was pre-approved but I needed to give him my credit/debit card to authorize a charge in the amount of $3.87 to finalize my registration and then I would get an email with a username and password and be able to select a drop-down box with different amounts on their website for the grant.

I actually looked up this business and found scambook had all of these unresolved complaints and I hung up on the guy when I saw scambook was the second result when I typed "us financial scam" into google. So, I never actually gave him my credit card and I was able to avoid losing any money... but I want others to not be warned not to get scammed in this manner.
