I am actually 1 of the people he paid back. I met him in Charlotte airport on a Friday in March 2014. He had an absolute amazing sob story and he was very articulate. He needed 200 for a hotel and food and not knowing his gambling issues and history I gave it to him. The next week I googled his name and saw a few complaints on this site. I called him and asked him if I got taken. He admitted he lied to me to get money to gamble but if I gave him a few weeks he would repay me. Of course I didn't believe him at all but 3 weeks later he called me and said he would western union me the 200 I gave him plus an extra 100 for the hassle. I explained that wasn't necessary but he ended up western unioning me 300. I ended up giving the extra 100 to charity. Very few people surprise me but this guy repaying me with his interest did just that. Hope he gets his life together. Should have been an actor.
