My father is elderly and received a phone call offering savings on his electric bill. Sounded good. He switched to Starion Energy in Feb 2014. The first bill was good, one of his lowest ever. The rate was $0.0799 per KWH. March was OK at $0.0859. But then without warning it nearly tripled to $0.2197 for his April, May, June, and July bill!!! He didn't know why it was so high. I just switched to someone else so they won't get another penny from him!!! This was a scam and they are crooks!
