I received the following (and other) letters in response to my sale of a Hobie Cat sailboat on Craigslist. It eventually led to 'Collins Jenkins' sending me a fake PayPal Service page, telling me that he had deposited money there and I was to pay his shipping agent via Western Union. Obviously, not going to happen. I was suspicious at the beginning and found a hit on the Web with exactly the same wording as my letter (only for a car sale). The initial letter was pretty good; however, later ones had more grammatical errors. Notice the PayPal email apparently came from <[email protected]>:

Thanks for your response, I am sorry I am not available to view due to the nature of my job, I am in the United States Army and serve as a CBRN Specialist (74D). I want to buy this for future use. I am currently deployed wont be back till September. I also have a few questions for you.

Whats its condition, any damages? Can I see a few closely taken pictures? Are you the original owner and what is your reason for selling?
