Someone called me and talked about the process of getting a canadian visa. She asked for personal information like education background, work experience, etc. Sounds very legit. Then she asked for my credit card information, and said something about assessment. After I gave her the information, I asked her over and over again if she's going to charge me, she said something about $2063.00, and said that she's just going to verify something. I assume the cost she said would be charged after the application for the visa. Right after I hang up the phone, I got a text from my bank said that the amount of $2063.00 has been charged to my card. That was the moment that I realized I just got scammed.
