I received an email on October 17th at around 4 am saying that I have a $968.75 for a pending balance. The email said I emailed them, when I didn't. They also stated that they have a settlement offer available, if only I can come up with $465.00 on or before October 22nd 2014, they will consider the account paid in full with a zero balance. It then said confirm the mentioned offer, so that a mode of payment is suggested by them accordingly. At the end of the email, there was no person as a signature.

The thing is, I don't remember sending an email to them at all. Whenever I do send emails, I remember sending them. This is a total scam. They just want my money. Just to mention, I am a college student who doesn't have that much money. Also, I don't know what this pending balance is actually for, because it is not stated in the email.
