Had been offered the opportunity to get a $3000 loan with reasonable payments. Just had to get a green dot card for $350 they said they would not cash, just to verify I was showing in good faith I would repay the loan. Of course they cashed it, and said they would refund it in the loan amount. But first, I had to send another $450 for the loan insurance. I didn't have that, so I asked for a refund. Then I was told that was my processing fee. They offered to cut the insurance to $220, but I couldn't afford another loss. Sobbed on the phone, and they promised they would go through on the loan. Stopped before I did anything else stupid.
