I received a phone call from an individual who claimed that I was approved for a $100 gift card to any retailer that I would be interested in the most. Ex. Target, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Ect. The man was very convincing and I gave him my debit card information over the phone and he said i would be charged $4.99 to receive this "once in a lifetime" offer. He was talking so fast and if I tried to ask a question he would cut me off and proceed with the conversation convincing me that everything was okay and that this was not a scam. Towards the end of the phone call, he even read disclosures, which were essentially terms and conditions, and that's what ultimately fooled me into thinking this was a real offer.
