I responded to an offer for $2000 @ 10% amortized over 24 months. Send all the usual personal/banking information, was set to receive money immediately, BUT the needed to "Verify" which entailed sending a Vannila Reload Pak with PIN exposed $100.
Was to have use of those funds within 15 minutes, and the loan wired within 1 hour. They called back again and needed another $120 because the state of my credit file. I refused, they threatened damages to them in the face value of the loan, would not get any money back if I didn't comply. So I told them I needed to borrow from relative to get $120, I didn't send it:), they will not return calls. I filed complaints w/IC#3,FL office of Financial Regulation,BBB, and am now casting my net wider and will never quit until I at least get original money back.
