As a host and with an outstanding reputation with other sites its so frustrating to deal with this company. With TripAdvisor as parent company I'm baffled how they can tolerate such incompetence and less then poor customer service. Their web site is inaccurate, self serving and never up to date. We are proud to be a Superhost with AIRBNB, an achievement because of 100% customer satisfaction. with flipkey we have a .05% booking ratio based on number of inquiries. very odd since in all other services we have a 96% booking ratio. flipkey fee's are out of control and its only recently that we uncovered that the fee's are commission driven, meaning the agents don't care about us hosts nor the guest they are just concerned about getting that one time customer which they will charge exorbitant fee's (avg of 15%+). there are so many complaints throughout the web and even in their own blog but they go to extreme lengths to hide that so well that an average customer will not find it. its one thing to loose revenue its another for an irresponsible company to tarnish our hard earned reputation because of their business model. Dermont Halpin is pres of Vacation rentals(flipkey) with Tripadvisor, Bill Bailey is Vp of Corp business development. Send them a letter of your experiences maybe one day they will reply. arghhh
