We have Chase as our mortgage lender because they bought our loan. They tried to foreclose while my husband was deployed, they raised our payment by 33% and could not explain why and while we were talking to them EVERY single day of the week for months to redo our loan, they were proceeding with foreclosure and telling us they were not. We want overdraft fees incurred as a result of their withdrawing money from our checking account. We believed that they were legitimate and believed the promises they made to negotiate with our mortgage company and have found that to be totally untrue. Once they took our money we never heard from them again. We could not get through to you on them on the phone and they would not sign for certified letters.

My husband agreed to allow them to withdraw funds from our joint account with the conditions that they follow through with what their representatives said they were capable of accomplishing, that it be with three payments withdrawn on specific, agreed upon dates. Funds were withdrawn on two dates and not dates that were specifically agreed upon. They did not accomplish anything with our mortgage company like they said they would and we never heard from them again. Our mortgage company was not contacted by their company at all except to advise them not to contact us. They withdrew $1200 from our checking account causing our account to be overdrawn and causing us to incur $300 in overdraft fees. We have called repeatedly and have left numerous messages. They have NEVER responded. We have sought counsel and were advised to send a demand letter demanding that our money be returned to us within two weeks of the date of the letter. $1500.00 is what we are out. Nice way to treat a veteran. RUN from this bunch of crooks!
