Through Motherhood Maternity, they gave me an offer for free books for $3.99. On their website it says "No Hidden Fees. No Commitment. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee."
They have a HIDDEN clause that signs you up for a book club. Within one month, they charged me $41.90 and stuffed the bill inside another order of books (mind you they were not very well known books like the "free" ones they advertised in the beginning).
Took 4 calls to get a hold of a supervisor. They hung up on me twice. Third time, call was blocked. The girl Tasha that I talked to seemed very comfortable with how the scam works. She did not apologize or offer to refund me the hidden fees. She said in order to get any amount back, I had to reship the books to you. Since the bill was stuffed in the package - there is no way I could do this without paying another $10 for shipping! Craziness.
They are a total scam preying on pregnant moms. The worst.
