Back in 2009 myself and my colleague were hired by Lexicon Global USA (San Diego county, http://www.lexiconusa.com/) to perform simultaneous interpreting for one of Lexicon Global's clients, a large medical corporation. The even went smoothly and the client was very happy with our work (several emails to attest to this fact).

Lexicon Global never paid either myself or my colleague for this assignment, all efforts to get in touch with the mysterious owner, Madison Segat, never lead to anything, as he is never personally available to speak with you, his staff always just akes a message, but no one ever calls you back.

I employed services of a collection agency which could not collect any of the funds owed, my last resort is to file a small claims case as the statute of limitations is running out. Please stay away from doing business with this agency - and its owner, in my 8 years on the market as a freelancer this was the first time when an agency failed to honor its promise - something that in my mind is akin to theft of rightfully earned remuneration.
