Hydro One cut off our power without giving any notice (at all) while they Melissa Shaw (the supervisor) lied several times, for one, saying someone did put a sign on our door on my son's birthday Aug 31, which was a Monday so I know, I aswell as my family was home. She also said that we were THREE months behind, which is a down right lie! We have paid the bill because I distinctly remember my father went in to pay it. The letter they gave my son this morning said we were $682.05 outstanding, but haven't receieved so much as a phone call? Melissa Shaw also said that they called and the mailbox was full; this is a new phone that hardly anyone calls... It's really fishy to me that it cost $73.45 to reinstall the service that should'nt have been cut in the first place... My son say's they rang the bell and gave him the notice, which also states on the letter that it was dated on the 11th of sept, when today is the 14th -somethings not right about this so I desided to seek some social assistance.

Is it not inhumane to cut off one's services without notice? The kids haven't eaten all day, I've taken time off work to go in the
office on pay them myself; after I received a call from my son, who didn't go to school. It also states on the letter (same day) reconnection if paid and they still haven't reintalled it as yet. I don't know what to do while I sit here in the dark, with my phone on 5%; food in the fridge & freezer melting. We always pay our bills ontime, we don't deserve this. Can someone please help?
