A person claiming to be a litigator for The Seven Group called my mother this morning and told her she took out a payday loan in 2012 and never paid it back. my mother did not take out any loans in 2012. We called the bank and got them to check for a direct deposit of $400 in November of 2012 and they did not find anything. This company had my mother in tears telling her she had to pay them $800 by 5pm today or she would be held accountable to the highest extent of the law. When she called them back and told them she had talked to the bank and said she was not paying this they got very angry, continued the threats and then humg up on her. This company is buying old debt information and now trying to use it against innocent people.
