A "Scott Bailey called my laundromat around 3:30 pm claiming he was from DTE and my bill was 2 months behind and power was scheduled to be shut off at 4:30 pm. I called him back at 1-888-770-4999, ext 104. I told him there was no way I was past due and he said he sent out notices to the place of business, not to my mailing address. When I told him my checks cleared my bank, He said something about a computer glitch and that I would be receiving a check back for the amount of the checks, $2114.08, was going to be sent to me overnight by fedex. In the meantime I needed to send him $1880 in cash to avoid the power being shut off. He sent me to a payment terminal in CVS pharmacy at 4121 Monroe St., Toledo, Ohio. I was fully prepared to send the cash, but things just weren't adding up. I hung up on him and called consumers energy to verify his story, they told me everything was fine on my account and I was the second one today to report this activity. Please help find this leech on society and put him behind bars! Joe Bellner
