The complaint is against an online dating profile
The complaint is a listing fraud posted on public forums or sites against an anonymous entity
The complaint is mobile text spam or smishing related against an anonymous entity

International boundaries
They create 100's of profiles of successful and good looking individuals along with obviously profession "staged" photos. Once they get you to setup an account, you get bombarded with emails and IM's from these guys desperately wanting to get to know you. Even if you haven't uploaded a picture or don't meet their "age requirement". Of course, you don't get to see the full list of profiles until you fork over the money. That's when you see that it's totally a SCAM! Reminds me of the Nigerian Scammers a few years ago. I re-read some of their emails and their vocabulary is not that great. Especially if they are as successful as they claim to be.
