Floors Free, Inc. SUED ME! The case went nowhere in Denver. The operator of Floors Free, Inc. -- Bryan McGlasson -- has owned/been involved with a string of carpeting and flooring businesses in and around Littleton, Colorado, including Floor Coverings Direct, Commercial Floor and Design, and Direct Flooring and Design, over the past 10-15 years. At least one of McGlasson companies went out of business after losing a small lawsuit which determined that McGlasson personally failed to properly install the manufacturer’s product and did not stand behind any type of warranty or guarantee. Don’t you want to find someone who will stand behind their work? You should ask this guy a lot of questions if you intend to do business with one of his carpeting/flooring companies, like Floors Free, Inc., so you don’t get burned. Good thing this website is available to protect consumers!! Please add to the discussion if you know anything about Bryan McGlasson or one of his carpet/floor businesses.

Bryan McGlasson and Floors Free, Inc.sued me for an online review both lost on claims of defamation & commercial disparagement, in which they sought $139K in damages. The jury awarded me nearly $8000 plus $700 in costs against both.
Update: 12/20/2016
McGlasson and his company Floors Free sued me in Jefferson County CO. After a three-day trial, the jury ruled against both on their claims of defamation and commercial disparagement, and awarded them $0 of the $139,000 in damages they sought.

REBUTTAL-Bryan McGlasson
As a business owner we can only strive for perfection and customer satisfaction. We have an obligation to defend such a negative review so that future customers of Floors Free Inc.have the facts on this matter. The facts are as follows:
John Zodrow posted on Google.com on December 17, 2016 a piece which claims that Mr. Bryan McGlasson sued Zodrow for online reviews which accurately reported that he confessed judgment on behalf of his former carpeting, flooring and tile company, Direct Flooring and Design, Inc. for poor workmanship and failure to stand behind his work and warranty after a he personally defectively installed laminate flooring in Zodrow’s condominium in 2011 due to improper acclimation of the product in which the client declined at the time of installation The posting also contends that the subject of Floors Free workmanship and warranties are a matter of general interest and readers of the posting should know the history and business practice of Bryan McGlasson and Floors Free, Inc.
First, the readers of Zodrow’s posting, if any, should know Zodrow’s history and practices as an attorney. Zodrow is a disbarred lawyer in several states. Zodrow was disbarred by Supreme of Colorado, the Maryland Court of Appeals and California Supreme Court in 2014 for a making misrepresentations to the Colorado Supreme Court, and knowingly filing false statements in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. Moreover, Zodrow was convicted of a felony for doing so. It is a very unlikely that Zodrow ever be readmitted to practice law in any state, because his conviction for a felony for knowingly and intentionally filing false statements in the Federal Bankruptcy Court Colorado The Maryland Court of Appeals (highest court in the State of Maryland) also disbarred Zodrow for his conduct which the Court of Appeals stated was infected with fraud, deceit and dishonesty. - None of that above changes the fact that Bryan McGlasson, who currently owns and operates Floors Free, Inc. in Colorado, confessed judgement for installing defective floors on behalf of his last floor company in Douglas Court Small Claims Court and that judgement against his last company is still unpaid at the time of this posting. Call the Clerk of the Civil Court, Douglas County, at 720-437-6200 (phone number also available online) and ask if the judgement against Direct Flooring and Design, Inc has been paid in case no. 12-S-323 as part of your due diligence when investigation Bryan McGlasson and/or Floors Free, iIc.
