In 2011 my wife and I took the Styx River tour. Even though we live in the area, they tried to get us to tour a resort in north Alabama. Since I am retired military, the sales person and the manager said they would give us the loan at six (6) percent. Much later I found out it was fifteen (15) percent. I made a $300.00 payment on a normal $147.00 payment. They charged me a $5.00 late fee even though the payment was on time, then took most of the rest as interest. The next month I made a $500.00 payment, the same thing happened. I made many inquiries to no avail. They either do not answer there voice mail, or if you get a live person, they say it is not their area and will have someone call you. It never happens. Legal action is now under way. I made good documentation, and made copies for safety sake. I am going to tell the military officials about this so at least active duty personnel can be warned.
