We were trying to get rid of some unwanted programs on our PC. When we queried the names of the files, Smart PC Fixer seemed to be a software that would help us. It was Thanksgiving. Our call was forwarded to India when we called to get our product registered. The man that we talked to took remote control of our computer and kept pointing out what bad shape our computer was in. Long story short, the software was not enough to fix all our problems, and we needed a Microsoft Tech to repair it. They just happened to have a Tech that could remotely repair our PC for $250. No thank you. We will have it repaired locally. Spent half our Thanksgiving on the phone, and now have three programs on our computer that are of no use at all, and we are out the money. Since we have not taken the computer in yet, we have no idea what damage has been done. We were told that we could not get a refund for the download.
