cold call told I won 2nd pl. prize of $585,000. was notified by mail they had wrong add. gave them the corrected info said funds where available immediately and would be delivered the next day all taxes had been paid original award was $900,000. was given claim # and all other contact info. Call from custom agent said the funds where coming from Costa Rica which had passed a law in this year taxing funds leaving the country over the $200.k amount at 1%. agent said I was libel for that fee. American Sweepstakes was able to cover legally only half of the fee, I was able to get the amount reduced to $1462.50 which I was instructed to deposit into a Bank of America acct. by the custom agent after which he would inform me of delivery details by a customs agent in my local!!
