Do not do buisness with Mr Roye. I paid him in advance to do some mixes, and what I got back were some of the worst mixes I've ever heard - there were parts missing and errors everywhere. One of the tracks was a piano ballad and I kid you not he sent it back with the piano muted. For the first minute there is nothing but hiss and vocal.

Other tracks sounded like the the vocal had nothing below 300hz, others had random pops that were not in the sessions I sent. Others had parts that were randomly bone dry for no reason (despite me sending printed versions and fx signal chains)

Unbelievably he was of the opinion that these were acceptable to send even as a first draft, and he offered no apology beyond - 'send me more money and I'll do some revisions'. I need to emphasise that the 'mixes' were so bad that no amount of 'tweaks' would have been enough - they will basically need to be redone from scratch.

It was at this point I decided it would be best to cut ties and ask for a refund.

Now he has vanished without either refunding my money or delivering a finished product - the 'mixes' he sent me were smashed through a limiter so are beyond useless. Yet he is still updating his twitter and it seems taking on other projects so he clearly has decided to just ignore me.

So if you are thinking of working with Mr Roye... Can I humbly suggest you run the other way.
