Jose from Chirino Towing seemed to be waiting in the shadows as I ran into Trader Joe's on US One Sunday afternoon. I parked at the Burger King next door that had plenty of available spaces so I was not taking space from their paying patrons. I was in TJ's long enough to buy two bouquets of flowers and came out to his tow truck attached to my car. He told me I could pay him $50 cash on the spot or it would be $100 if he drove away with my vehicle. Since I only had $20 cash on me, I called my boyfriend for help. Jose told me he couldn't wait. After arguing he suggested I see if TJ's had an ATM so I walked back over there (while Jose waited) to check but they didn't have one. I came back to tell him so he then directed me to the Bank of America on the other side of Burger King. I then headed that way (again, Jose waited) and my boyfriend met me there to withdraw the cash. We went back to my car and gave Jose the money. He released my car and drove off. What a crook this man is!
