I was simply having lunch at my desk at work (small family owned) when checking out yahoo news articles,
once I clicked on an article to read, this big blue screen appears and instructs you to NOT reboot, NOT shut down computer, very alarming message, to call 1888-287-1902 to resolve major issues , I am in panic mode as to what may have occurred so I call and this "tech" Muari Thakur begins to petrify me further (even yelling to where I asked him to pls stop yelling) well bottom line after I use my personal visa info. and allow them to resolve issue and charge my credit card) I called our IT people who said this is a scam and others have had the same to happen, shutdown asap. This being said that bill will be $95.00 for our IT guys to resolve over and above what I feel may not be retrieved from my personal card ($136.00). This so called "My Tech Bay" have left 3 voicemails to call back due to interruption of their process, which our IT people said to disregard (well that's a given). Very upsetting and upmost this is just very bothersome as to the aggressive behavior of the company and the technician, Muari Thakur! Pls help if at all possible.
