I ordered 5 for $40 bras a couple of days ago. I noticed on my debit card that they had changed a Pre-Authorization for 53.99 and another for 57.46. I called the next day and asked why there were two charges. They said they always charge a Pre-Authorization. I'm ordering online here, why do you pre-authorize at all. You have the ability to run the card before shipping the merchandise. ???? I was told I had to wait 24hours before it would be removed. Ok, not happy, but not totally unreasonable. So I called the next day which had been well over 24 hours from the day I ordered. That person said it takes 24-48 hours to be removed and it cannot be removed by anyone at the company. ???? What now? Ok. So I call today, 3 days after my initial order, well over 48 hours. I am told that it takes time. I ask for her manager. He manager tells me that it takes 48 BUSINESS HOURS? That's 6 days!!!! I am floored. I ask to speak to her supervisor and apparently she is it. She explains that they have no way of removing the charge. I can call my bank and they can remove it.

So many things wrong here. 1) Why am I being pre-authorized for an online order? Don't send the merchandise until the card goes through. 2) I could accept 24 hours - if they have the need to hold money, then 24 hours is somewhat reasonable. 3) 48 BUSINESS HOURS - a Week of holding someone's money for an online order - when you are holding the merchandise???? NO! Unacceptable! Ridiculous. Are they hoping no one will notice because a week has passed and just keep the money?

That floor supervisor has sadly underestimated my disappointment. There is someone else I can speak to who has the authority to relinquish my money.
