Recieved a fax saying my Domain name was about to expire. Calling them, they said that my host, Go Daddy, was a registrar - like yellow pages - but that they did licensing and I needed to renew my license. Coincidentally, a person walked into my office and asked "was something wrong with my website, they couldn't access it this morning" They would only take MC or Visa and only work 9 - 5 EST. And the same person always answered the phone.

- We've gotten one too, with legal sounding BS "Final Notice" and "In accordance with the United States Legal Code" and a Reply Deadline date set as the date that the fax was sent. I hope ICANN shuts these guys down. The whois info says that the domain that they're doing business under, http://www.DomainRegistrar.us.com has only been up since last July, which is also a red flag.
