I called the Geek Squad. Their lines were busy, and I was instructed to leave my phone no., and they would call me back.
About an hour later, I received a call from Geeks Technical Support LLC.
Long story short, they scammed me into believing they are part of the geek squad whenin fact they are not. they convinced me that my computer had been hacked and for $499.99 they would fix it. I feel like a fool for falling for the fraud.
I got suspicious afterwards and brought my computer in to the real Geek Squad at Best Buy to have it looked at. it turns out that a bunch of malware was planted on my IMAC. I am disputing the bill with my credit card company and am still waiting for resolution.
The fraudulent people at Geek Technical Support LLC
Continue to call and email me. I am ignoring all contacts.
