Received a phone call from a newbie explaining in unclear terms about a monthly subsc ription to several magzines and an entry into a large amount of cash chance
I asked if it was Publisher's Clearing house
NO was the reply.
My queries got me turned over to the supervisor who hogwqashed the deal all the more...still making the carrot look good.
Later the deal turned out to be $57.50 US funds / month for 12 months for 10 yrs of subscriptions to 10 magazines of MY choice...BS....the terms were at ALL times obtuse...the info, at all times, hard to GET! Because the so-called company is NOT recognized by the BBB I am not able to pay auto via my bank...and thefe are late payment charges to boot tho I EXPLAINED I had no cheques ( on order via the bank)--and today, I was offered a 20% payout discount of %550 (appl) US--a one-time offer! No magazines, and I have been slightly harassed by these Jerks weekly (if not more) for the $$$!
It was ALL by phone...
I am soooo angry I did something like this...Can I get out of it w/o sending anything? I am a pensioner!
