A person called me asking to renew my subscription to Forbes magazine. I am a Forbes subscriber. I told the individual that I thought my subscription was not due until 2018. He said no that it would expire in January 2017 and that I could renew at this reduced rate of $49.95 versus $59.95. I did not have my copy of Forbes to verify the expiration date. So I renewed. Later IK checked with Forbes and discovered that my subscription does not expire until May 2019.
I have called Visa and placed a dispute with them on this transaction.
