I purchased Rio 2016 Olympics tickets but they were never delivered. I contacted the firm and they found that the tickets were not shipped so the firm committed to issue me 100% refund by 8/25. It's been 4 months of constant emailing this firm and them giving me excuses for the refund delay. Here are their responses throughout the past 4 months:
- "We have already processed your refund.
Your money will be reflected in the same card which you used to pay us"
- "We are sorry to inform you that the refund is taking time. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a little bit more. We will get in touch with the accounts department and ask them."
- "We understand your concerns and apologize for the same. This mail is to inform you that due to some circumstances the processing of your refund is taking a bit time. We assure you that your refund will be made shortly."
- "Please accept our apologies again, if the refund hasn't reached your account. We will run a check and request our bank to get into the matter and see why the refund hasn’t reached your bank account yet."
- "We are extremely sorry for the delay that has been taking place in the processing of your refund. This is to inform you that we have spoken to the bank officials and they have intimated us that the processing will take some more time to get completely sorted out. As soon as the glitch gets resolved, the entire amount will reach your account in no time. This is to ensure that the money you have spent will go nowhere and will be duly returned back to you."
