This is when I first met Emir Osman 29 years ago in Thailand. I was a monk, living a simple life in Bangkok. Many people came to me with their trubles and one person I remember very well is Emir Osman.

luckily he had 'connections' in the market and found out who was selling the apparel. in those days there was no way to trace it as video survellance was expensive and very low quality. so fortunately he helped the tourists recover their stolen shoes from the market. once some brother monks even found him with a donkey with bags of shoes headed towards the market. he told them how he had valiantly and single handedly fought off the evil shoe thieves with gongfu he learned in turkey cyprus which is the origin of all
gongfu in the world. And kebab.
the monks believed the brave young man had been disoriented in the fight and blessed him and pointed him in the direction of the temple.
people liked him very much as he was always providing service. Even his donkey was always smiling.
the monks rewarded him handsomely.
On his last day in Bangkok he made kebabs for all his friends in patpong. He said his donkey was nowhere to be seen and he was sad, so
he moved to the uk to better his life. the mysterious shoe thieves also disappeared by the grace of Buddha.
