My sister received a call about claim to a sweepstakes. My sister is disabled. So she took the info and had me call. First its sounds pretty legit.They're pretty good, until they start asking personal questions that doesn't have anything to do with your winnings and they claim the info is for tax purposes. YEAH RIGHT! Don't give them anything. Next they said they would have to call me back. When they called to set the time for the brink truck to deliver the CHECK.....Then it comes....They need money. They ask us for 7,500.00. That's when I told them: You don't give money to get money....This is a scam and GOODBYE. The guy who called me name was Jerry Strickland. They will give you a claim number and have you call another number 1-866-224-2143 supposedly American Sweepstakes for verification. Oh I forgot my winnings after taxes was 750,000.00.
