I ordered these tablets for just £2.95 P & P through The Telegraph Newspaper. I didn't realize the amount of approximately£78 (depending on the exchange rate) had been taken from my account every 3 weeks until my three monthly statement arrived. When I noticed these transactions I immediately contacted this company. The response when they answered the phone was unbelievable - 'Yeh'? I explained why I was calling and was then told it was my own fault and I should have read the small print. I told the insolent person on the phone that I had called as soon as I received the tablets and told them I didn't want any further supplies. I explained that I had signed up for one pack and given my debit card details to cover postage and package and had NEVER authorized them to take any further money from my account. Nowhere in their advertisement is there any mention of the exhorbitant 3 weekly payment of around £78. I demanded a refund and told her that if I didn't receive the money within the next 7 days, I would go to the TV Program, Watchdog. The 3 amounts of money were back in my account 4 days later. However, I contacted my bank and told them I didn't want them to make any further payments to this company. To my shock and horror I was told they couldn't do this and the following day a further amount was taken from my account. I rang E_health immediately and they said they would refund it within the next few days. 4 weeks passed without a refund and then I received a 'cheque' from them for $104. My husband took it to the bank where he was told by the cashier that it was not really an acceptable method of payment since this sort of cheque had to be returned to the States to be authorized and a sum agreed before being retuned to the UK bank. This would cost us between £10 and £20 meaning that we would only receive around £30 and could take up to 2 months. My husband was told not to accept the cheque and contact E-healthweb.com. This we did and posted the cheque back to them as requested. That was way back at the beginning of October. We are still waiting!
