I first received a call from William Pogue 877-898-9429 saying that I was approved for a $5000 loan at 8.5% int rate. Because christmas is right around the corner and I am working on building my credit I was very excited. He asked me to fax over some documents such as pay stub, bank statmenent and my driver license. I didn't mind because I have had done this before with no problems. I called him back to confirm if received. He faxed me my contract and I read it through completely and it look and sounded legit. He then told me that I need to put down a down payment for $887 for 6months and my first payment wouldnt be due till July 2012. Which is what it said in the contract. I sent the money using GreenDot Money pak. I called him back to let him know I sent the money, he said it would 24hrs for the funds to be in my account. The next day money was not there, I called him back at 9am, he said it will be there by noon. Around 11:30am I received a call from Michael Kyle, who said that he was the Senior Account Manager, and that the lender is requesting that I need to insurance coverage because of a previous bankruptcy. I will have to purchase the basic insurance of $1000, which is on the contract. So, I thought about it and because I have bankruptcy it didnt seem unsual. Again, I was thinking, I am trying to rebuild my credit, and christmas is coming, I could use the money. I borrowed the $1000 from a family member assuring them that I would return the money immediately. Because the final process was done on Saturday morning, in my mind I'm thinking I have to wait till Monday and pray the money is funded in my account. But my gut is telling me it is not going to happen. I am sick to my stomach about this. I can not beleive that I allowed this to happen. I have given all I had, I now have no money for christmas, rent, bills and everything else. I don't know how to fix this or if I can even get my money back. Is there something I can do? I wish now that I would have found this site prior.
