old_weird_stuff, i.e. Chris Leehey is a buyer on eBay who purchases for the purpose of re-sale. He is completely abusive of other sellers. Of the last 25 seller feedback that he has recorded, 3 are negative, 2 are neutral, and 5 positives are bragging at how he forced full refund with roundtrip shipping paid by seller. He buys items, holds them for a period of time, tries to re-sell them, and when his auctions fail, he then uses buyer protection to force return with refund. Dealing with this buyer is equivalent to being mugged, BEWARE - AVOID - CAUTION

eBay reviewed their earlier decision that found in favor of the buyer because I appealed their decision. They reversed their decision and found in my favor. I was reimbursed $201.00.
I have been contacted by other sellers on eBay who have had the same and/or similar problems with this particular seller. It appears that eBay is building a file on him, as eBay is advising all sellers with complaints to file an "abuse of buyer protection" complaint with eBay.
That is good advise for all sellers who are hit with "item not as described" longer than 10 days after sale. File an Abuse of Buyer Protection complaint. If eBay has to review enough of these complaints hopefully they will begin to cull out the bad buyers and ultimately provide a more reasonable return policy. -
