Received a letter in the mail today to participate in a "paid survey" The $2,050 cashier's check looked very convincing too but something smelled "fishy". I looked up the company & did find it....in the UK! On their website they said to beware of free email address & sure enough the contact email was a free gmail.com acct. I will not deposit this check into my acct. but could sure use it this time of year especially!!! Beware EVERYONE of these SCAMERS!!!

  • Hi Christy

Thanks for spotting this scam that is being done using Redshifts name! We certainly don't send out unsolicited cheques, all our respondents get paid via PayPal.

We do have a NY office, but we don't send official emails using gmail.
Our UK online panel (Crowdology) is genuine, but please ignore any chques sent to you in the post.

If you still have concerns email us at: [email protected]

    Many thanks
