I was contacted by Shawn Ray ext 614 from Lake Point Loan Services on 11/30, he advised that I was approved for 10K loan but they would need thee 1st 5 payments up front, total 1232.00. So I paid 1232.00 Green Dot Money Pak card and called w/confirmation #. Shawn advised that funds will be deposited winto my account within 24 hours. Next day no funds, I called customer service they advised that they will have someone call me back. Michael Roberts ext 306 called and advised that loan didnt get funded because lender requested Basic insurance for 1K. So I paid another 1K Green Dot Money Pak card. Mike advisedd that funds will be in my account within 3-5 hours. So I checked my checking account the next morning and still no funds. I called Mike that Monday morning on 12/05, he advised that lend requested Full Insurance for another 1K. Mike advised that if I paid the 1k and the funds wasnw't in my account, he would refund the money. He then sent me a letter from the 'CEO' Burt Samuels guranteeing that funds will eposited into my account upon receipt of 1K for the Full Insurance. I paid the 1K the next day and provided confirmation #, sure enough the loan wasnt deposited into my account. I called Mike the next day, he advised since loan sat in queue for 5 days, the lender requested 675.00 lender fee, which I had to pay and they would reimburse me for. I paid the 675.00, Michael advised that I had satisfied the requirements and my loan would be deposited into my account in 1- 3 hours. I checked my account the next day, sure enough no funds in my account. I called Mike that Monday 12/12, he advised that there was a freeze on the wire transfers and they mailed me a check and I should have in 3-5 days. Here it is 12/22 and still no funds. This is totally a scam and I have escalated matter to Better Business Bureau on 12/10, I received email from them yesterday advising that complaint was closed because correspondence that mailed to them came back undeliverable for the address/and company no longer in business. I also escalated my complaint to www.IC3.gov.
