I had applied online for what I thought was to be a virtual assistant for QBC Hydro, LLC. When I received the emails explaining my duties I was under the impression that I would receive payments that would need to be processed online. What I really had to do was cash the check and keep 10% for myself and then go to Western Union and send the rest overseas. I received a check via fedex and called the bank that the check was drawn on to verify all the information before cashing it. Thankfully I did that because I learned the check was fraudulent. Had I not done that i would have been out almost $2000, thankfully I have worked in a bank before and so I knew what I needed to do. Please do not apply to be a virtual assistant for QBC HYDRO, LLC it is a scam.

- OMG!!! I am so glad I found this site I was tricked into the same thing good thing I did not cash the check. It seemed weird any way because they don't have a contact number and they don't tell you actually how much money to send and all they need is your address and name they don't phone interview or nothing. Was the persons name Anthony Redstein?

- Yes his name is Anthony Redstein. Also they have a new company that they are using called Hydro Brew LLC and that persons name is Abraham Lam. When you click on the details it shows both companies. I just hope people are more aware of the scams out there. Thankfully you didnt cash the check either because it would have caused a lot more trouble than its actually worth.
