I purchased a tablet from the merchant. The item was advertised as "Brand New". Within the description, there was a section that indicated what was "In the Box". I received an email from the merchant indicating that my item had been checked and was ready to ship. I immediately wrote back and stated that if the item was not "Brand New" as indicated, I wanted to cancel my order. The merchant gave me the run around and shipped the item anyway.

When the item came, it was not in a box. It was in a case. Several of the "in the box" items were missing. The case was dirty and the item was obviously used. I immediately wrote to the seller to request return information. Again, I received the run around...a sob story about Christmas and a request to wait a few days before the return information was provided. By this time, I had left town to tend to a familial obligation, so I was not able to return the item until I returned home.

I followed the seller's requested return method and wrote to the seller to share that the item was on his way. At this time, he told me I had waited too long to return the item, and he would not refund my money. I have explained that I followed his requests and that I had actually requested that the order be cancelled prior to it even shipping from him, but he is still giving me the run around. Hopefully, it will all be resolved soon. If not, I will be contacting Paypal and the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint.
