I clicked on a link to download a free document and was told I need to register with a totally different website in order to download the doc. There was a trail fee of $1.99 with no mention of automatic upgrade to full version, or even the ability to select the full version, there were no mention of terms and conditions, I paid the $1.99 and was given a link to download, but the document I wanted to download never existed. I was displeased with it because nothing worked. I saw The download never did anything,would not open. after searching the internet I found their site, now the terms and conditions are stated. I have emailed Media Crawler and Plimus about the transaction of $80 taken from my account on something that does not even work. I was scammed.

I too felt the "Slap" of this company.
Avantgate is the product I had a "trial" of.
I was billed me 1 day before my "trial" was up.
If the product you were billed for is Avantgate, call to get your refund:
Avantgate's support number is: 888-247-1614.
You will need to have your order/Reference number or your email address used to sign up and the method of payment you used.
Call and simply expalain what transpired and they will proces your refund.
It took several days so call back in 3-4 business days if you don't see a refund in your account.
