I usually subscribed lawn care service for whole year and prepaid the service fee for whole year.
Cheating sales
March 2011, Sales / Jay from EPM Lawn care company called me for their service, I told him that I already had server in True Green for one year contract, he advised that they have promotion price , I asked him to quote one year lawn care plus tree and shrub care service , he quoted me total : $428.40, - 7 applications plus one free for lawn care and 7 applications for tree and shrubs, he emphasized that this price specially approved by their manager , and need pay ASAP, otherwise the price will go up, so I canceled my True Green service and paid $428.40 to EPM for one year service in March 30 2011 via phone, unfortunately I neither receive any receipt from them, nor the contract document , I asked Jay before, he said everything in their record and it should be no any issue on it
Bad service and worst customer service
Unfortunately the service they provided is very bad, a lot of area of grass had gone in my yard and one of my tree died after they made treatment and one shrubs leave turned black and a few died too, I found the issues in August and pointed to their technician, who checked and confirmed all of them watering properly, he advised that he is the first time to my house, he didn’t know what the previous technician did, he would reported the issue to their manager, a few weeks passed, no one contacted me for the issue, I have to escalated to them a few times, in September, one of their lead technician came to my house to reseed my yard for bare area , he took some bad leaves samples and advised that he would run some test and see what happened and would let me know the result. a few weeks late, I called EPM to check the result, but nothing, their front desk told me, she would have their manager call me, but I didn’t receive the call until winter came in , their manager-John Hart finally show up in front of my house , and he didn’t bring any test result, but claimed that the tree didn’t die because it is winter, I pointed to him that the tree’s leave was gone in August , August is not winter, and this tree in my house for 5 years and there is lot of green leave every August, but he didn’t care and kept to claim that the dead shrubs were died because it planned wrong, but he didn’t realized those shrubs already there for two years, and they were grown healthy without any issue before their service. Since they are not responsible for their bad service, I called them to stop the tree treatment and asked to transfer reminding the service to my lawn care service.
The issue came again, the front desk checked my account and advised that my account only had 5 applications paid for tree treatment, 7 applications paid for law care. I called Sales man/Jay a few times, no any response, I had to call their front desk and requested the sales called me back, finally Sales/Jay called me, and advised that he didn’t remember the contract, he would pull out to check, but one month passed, he never called me back, I had call their front desk again, they told me that Jay left the company , so my contract under the dark now, I never had this bad service in my whole life, I have no choice to cancel the EPM service and told myself to forget this company and will never deal with them anymore. I didn’t realize that they changed again and sent my billing statement and claimed that I owned them two applications fee $102 for law care which their front desk verified that I prepaid before.
I have no choice and had to fight against EPM, a WORST LAWN CARE SERVICE and it is so shame EPM treats their loyal customers this way
