- Yes, definate scam! On Feb 9th, 2012 I was tryingto search a VIN# & found Vehicle History.com site. Said for $2.95 you could get a "onetime" report, I entered the VIN & it came up as what the vehicle was in the "Pre Search" but then it made me pay & of ourse when I entered the VIN again as it requested, then it said error, no such VIN etc. so I immediatley tried to call sveral times their Customer serv # & of course nothing, it didnt even ring, just kept hanging up. Of course, on the 12th I see a debit to my account for $29.95, so I immediately call my bank & report fraud. I subsequently researched & found that this charge was from this website that said nothing about a Trial nor a $29.95 charge to my account. I recieved absolutley NO servive from this company & called again on the 12th only to be told they would not refund me, when someone in "Utah" aka Pakistan answered the phone. What a Joke anymore, what supposed companies can get away with...
