call from individual claiming to be an officer who had charges filed against me regarding an online payday loan. Person requested over 1000.00 dollars on one occasion then I got a second call from another individual claiming the same thing requesting 1200.00 dollars. I then got a third call requesting 1100.00 dollars for a payday loan company that I had never heard of. On all three occasions I was threatened with arrest if I did not agree to pay and was provided with fax numbers and told to buy a prepaid credit card for my transactions.I called the payday loan company reported by the third caller and was told that the activity was a scam and that they would never pursue this type of collection action. I explained that I had been called by the sherriffs dept and was told that they have the capacity to change the number that they call from with a web app. I was told to file a police report, which I attempted to do but they informed me that because it was an online case they could not help me
