My grandfather gets a letter in the mail stating he won $50,000 and a check was enclosed for $2960.00. He called this number on the letter and the lady he spoke with stated to send a check for $1200 to some company in Spain or somewhere in Europe. Well a couple days later, the check for $2960.00 was invalid and my grandfather got a call from his bank. So in actuality he lost out on the $1200 he sent to some foreign address. Whoever is out there scamming poor innocent elderly people, like my grandfather, really need to be locked up and tossed into the trash.
